This fan film tracks the origins of Link as he’s beckoned from the forest to Hyrule, where he’s sent to seek the counsel of Princess Zelda, but the evil Lord Ganondorf plans to overthrow the kingdom. Zelda flees into hiding and Link pulls the Master Sword from the Temple of Time, propelling him five years into the future, where he must fight Ganondorf to save Zelda and his kingdom.
The film was shot over weekends from 2004 to 2006, and yes, it’s a real feature-length movie. What you see above is the trailer for the first film in a planned series.
