It wasn’t long ago that Flash producers confirmed the ghoulish Black Flash would recur across other CW super-dramas; a likely target being placed on Legends of Tomorrow for its current speedster threat. Now, producers confirm we’ll be seeing the erstwhile Zoom in the flesh (what’s left of it) on Legends, while the penultimate and final Season 2 episodes will bring a crossover promised to “send fans into squeals of joy.”

Entertainment Weekly had a chat with Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim on all four series, in the process confirming that Matt Letscher’s Reverse Flash would run afoul of the speedster Grim Reaper known as “Black Flash” on Legends. That was to be expected, as the only other CW series with a speedster, though Guggenheim’s teases of crossover for the final two episodes of Season 2 proved far more intriguing:

We, just yesterday, made an offer to an actor to reprise their role from one of the other shows in the season finale of Legends. Oh, and in the penultimate episode we’re gonna have — I can’t be specific about this, but it’s one of the most fun things I think we’ve ever done on the show — a character from one of the other shows on Legends in a way that you’ve never seen before, you may never see again, but will, I think, just send fans into squeals of joy.

Hmm! Ten to one odds, Oliver in classic goateed Green Arrow regalia? Power Girl? Felicity as an alternate-timeline superhero? Felicity as Power Girl? Wally as a full Flash? Oh, we go on and on.

In the meantime, next week’s Legends of Tomorrow will go full “Legion of Doom,” so check out the trailer below, while we wait.
