DC’s ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Drops a League’s Worth of Character Posters
As if Barry and Oliver didn’t have enough to come back to in 2016, January 21 will see The CW opening the craziest branch of its DC universe yet with Legends of Tomorrow. You’ve seen all the characters already, and their origins sopping up all available screentime, now look at them individually! In character posters! Collect ‘em all!
Ahead of the January 21 premiere, The CW has released … just entirely too many different posters (it’s a big cast!) between TVInsider, IGN, ComicBook, Variety, TVLine, Access Hollywood, EW and Entertainment Tonight, all as bright, and future-y as we’ve come to expect from the series. Of course, we haven’t the foggiest how any of the series will actually play out over an entire season, let alone more, but look! Colors!
So reads the official Legends of Tomorrow description:
When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
Set for 15 episodes (to start), thus far we know Legends of Tomorrow will include among its cast Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh), Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Caity Lotz, time-traveler Rip Hunter (Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill), Valentina Vostok (Stephanie Corneliussen) and DC big bad Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on January 21, but what do we make of the latest looks?
