Happy Batman Day! Ever since everyone’s favorite orphan superhero celebrated his 75th birthday back in 2014, fans have kept Batman’s anniversary alive with a series of events and celebrations at comic book shops around the world. If it caught you by surprise this year  —  and don’t worry, I had no idea of the significance of today until about two hours ago  —  now might be a great time to circle September 17, 2017 on your calendar so you can do it up right next year.

It isn’t just fans who are celebrating Batman, however. In honor of Batman day, Warner Bros. has shared a brand new teaser poster for their highly anticipated animated The LEGO Batman Movie

The poster does feature a few great words to live by and is just further evidence that creative minds behind The LEGO Batman Movie not only understand the character, they also understand our culture’s fascination with the character. With this and a brand new animated movie starring Adam West both hitting theaters in the same six month span, it also appears the course might be correcting back to a slightly more fun version of Batman.

Here is the full plot synopsis for The LEGO Batman Movie:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble — LEGO Batman — stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO® Batman Movie.” But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The LEGO Batman Movie will feature the voices of Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Ralph Fiennes, Rosario Dawson, and Zach Galifianakis and hit theaters on February 10, 2017.
