One of the great things about The LEGO Movie is that the characters are so interesting that almost all of them could potentially warrant their own spinoff. That’s especially true in the case of Will Arnett’s Batman, who not only has decades of comic-book, film and television history to work with, but an entire sandbox of merchandise to go along with all of it — including an insane number of vehicles. You can see some of them in a new image from The LEGO Batman Movie, but we have to imagine that this photo barely scratches the surface.

For every Batman movie and TV series ever made, there have been numerous toy tie-ins, many of which have included some iteration of the Batmobile or other vehicles (helicopters, boats, you name it). Dozens upon dozens of toy vehicles — and that’s not even including the play sets and toys that are released independently of any new Batman film or TV show. LEGO alone is responsible for a ton of Bat-vehicles, so you have to imagine that in the world of The LEGO Batman Movie, LEGO Batman owns all of them, which is an inherently hilarious concept.

It also stands to reason that the image above only shows off a handful of said vehicles, and I can’t wait to see where Batman keeps all of them and how they come into play in the upcoming spinoff.

The LEGO Batman Movie was directed by Chris McKay and also features the voices of Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon / Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker and Mariah Carey as the Mayor.

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The spinoff is scheduled to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.
