Everything really is awesome in the world of LEGO. After the success of Warner Bros.' 'The LEGO Movie,' the studio quickly signed off on 'The LEGO Movie 2' for a 2017 release. But now, with more than two years until the sequel, two more LEGO movies have been dated!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. set aside May 25, 2018, and May 24, 2019, for unannounced LEGO movies. So, what are they? 'The LEGO Movie 3'? 'Ninjago 2'?

Hollywood is definitely riding the LEGO train, as is the iconic toy company, since these movies are crazy promotional opportunities. Aside from 'The LEGO Movie 2,' coming to theaters on May 26, 2017, Warner Bros. also has 'Ninjago' in development, a movie version centered around those LEGO ninja warriors, set for release on September 23, 2016. Given the popularity of the original Cartoon Network series, it's likely one of these new dates could be set aside for 'Ninjago 2.'

Despite the inherent excitement for a potential 'LEGO Movie' trilogy, is Warner Bros. counting their eggs too soon? Part of what made 'The LEGO Movie' such a hit was the expert direction and smart writing from the in-demand co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and these guys have already said they're not returning for the sequel, let alone 'The LEGO Movie 3.' Nonetheless, practically everyone loves (or loved, at some point) LEGO, and parents are always looking for more family friendly fair.
