Just when you thought Lindsay Lohan's Elizabeth Taylor biopic 'Liz & Dick' wasn't enough of a tragedy in its own right, Lifetime has returned with yet another sure to be debated dramatization of Hollywood tragedy. The first official trailer for Lifetime's 'The Anna Nicole Story,' starring Agnes Bruckner, has hit the web in advance of its June 29 premiere, but will it prove a step up for Lifetime's biopics?

Portrayed by 'Private Practice' alum Agnes Bruckner, 'The Anna Nicole Story' chronicles the life of native Texan Vicky Lynn Hogan, who grew up to become the voluptuous, Marilyn Monroe-type Playboy pinup.

Written by John Rice and Joe Batteer and directed by Mary Harron ('American Psycho'), the drama also stars Martin Landau as Anna's millionaire husband J. Howard Marshall; Cary Elwes as Marshall's son E. Pierce Marshall, Virginia Madsen as Anna's mother Virgie Arthur, and Adam Goldberg as her attorney Howard K. Stern.

We can't say for sure if 'The Anna Nicole Story' will prove any more or less watchable than 'Liz & Dick,' but judge for yourself in the trailer above!
