Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 Trailer: The Savior’s Choice

The Gamescom trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 shows our heroine making choices, finding Moogles and seeing old friends.

Lightning faces off against monsters, enemies, a doomed world and.. Moogles? That's right. We see her discover the last bastion of Moogledom in the forest and helps defend them from encroaching threats.

This decision to help out these little critters is a pretty standard good deed for a heroine like Lightning. But she'll be faced with tough choices in the game, such as who to pick to save or sacrifice.

The trailer also shows us a familiar face: Sazh. In fact, the tail end of the trailer features a few seconds of hilarity from Sazh, who ends up on the receiving end of a number of chocobo pecks.
