Do you love Fable? Are you stoked for Fable Legends to come out for Xbox One? Would you play Fable Legends for the next 10 years? If Lionhead Studios' plans go through, that's exactly what will happen.

In an interview on Games Industry, head of studio John Needham discusses the future of Fable Legends and its online components.

"This is the next big Fable game that is going to be out for five to ten years so it needs to be big, it needs to be interesting," Needham said. "There needs to be a lot of stuff to do, it needs to integrate all the cloud and Xbox One features so we keep our community alive and growing. So yeah, it's big and ambitious, but it needs to be because it's going to be around a long time."

To that end, Lionhead has brought on some new additions to the team who have skills in online gaming. And since they've gone back in time in Albion's history, they can tell different stories and allow players to become villains, not just heroes.

If you'd like to see what the game will be like before it's officially released, the studio has a beta planned for the future. But since there's no hard release date set for the game proper yet, we'll probably have to wait a good while until we can apply to test it out.

Until then, read up on the interview and get excited at the prospect of an online Albion.
