'LOST's Mark Pellegrino and Henry Ian Cusick Join The CW Sci-Fi PilotsKevin Fitzpatrick |
It's been a good long while since anything 'LOST' related was in the public eye, but for some actors Henry Ian Cusick and Mark Pellegrino will always represent the Island's favorite time-travellin' brotha Desmond, and its mysterious protector Jacob. And even though the characters were never seen together, both Henry Ian Cusick and Mark Pellegrino may soon share a network, having joined CW Pilots 'The Hundred' and 'The Tomorrow People,' respectively. Find out the 'LOST' stars' latest projects inside!
'LOST' will remain ingrained in the public consciousness for years to come, but that doesn't diminish our excitement from its stars moving on to new projects. In particular, we've just learned that The CW has rescued two former-Island dwellers for different upcoming pilots of the 2013 season.
Mark Pellegrino, already a CW fixture from his ongoing role as Lucifer of 'Supernatural' and well-remembered for his role as the Island's mysterious protector figure Jacob, has reportedly joined the cast of 'The Tomorrow People' in the villainous role of evolutionary biologist Dr. Jedikiah Price, who believes the titular group poses a grave danger to the human race. Written / executive produced by Phil Klemmer, executive produced by ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ Julie Plec and ‘Arrow‘ EP Greg Berlanti and directed / executive produced by Danny Cannon, ‘The Tomorrow People’ is adapted from the cult British series of the same name.
Elsewhere, fresh from his 'Fringe' role and recent appearances on 'Body of Proof,' famed 'LOST' button-pusher Henry Ian Cusick has been added to the cast of 'The Hundred,' a sci-fi drama set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization. In it, the "Ark" space station housing human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to evaluate the possibility of re-colonizing the planet. Cusick will play Kane, an officer on board the Ark who has his sights set on the Chancellor’s job. The project is based on upcoming Alloy books by Kass Morgan.
