Before you get too excited, Kevin Bacon is not the serial killer. According to EW, the prolific movie star plays FBI investigator, Ryan Hardy who's on the hunt for serial killer, Joe Carroll played by James Purefoy. Grace plays a doctor and Carroll's only surviving victim. Also appearing in the pilot is 'Justified' star, Natalie Zea. The project is being produced by Warner Bros. for FOX.

Grace, who's currently tangled up in the 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" sequel earned her stripes as the insufferable Shannon on 'LOST.' Grace also starred as Liam Neeson's kidnapped daughter in the Luc Besson thriller, "Taken."  Kevin Williamson currently serves as showrunner on The CW's 'Vampire Diaries.'

Before launching a movie career that self-admittedly connected him to everyone whose ever earned a paycheck in Tinseltown, Kevin Bacon appeared in soap operas, 'Search for Tomorrow' and 'Guiding Light.' His return to the small screen will surely add to his ubiquitous legend.
