Though it doesn't make a tremendous deal of itself with epic promotional campaigns, clips  and trailers, we're incredibly excited for FX to premiere the third season of Louis C.K.'s 'Louie' on June 28 at 10:30.  So far pretty much all we've seen is Louie getting trash blown in his face while the critics sing the show's praises, so what's on deck for season 3?  And will it involve airline peanuts?

Hollywood.com is reporting exclusively that legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld will make an appearance in the third season.  It remains unknown who Seinfeld will play, though most big-name celebrities to appear on the series tend to play themselves, with the exception of Ricky Gervais.  Previous guest stars have included Chris Rock, Joan Rivers, Dane Cook and and Matthew Broderick.

Interestingly, the news was revealed by Chris Rock during a press conference for 'Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted,' when Seinfeld himself called to chat about filming his 'Louie' spot.  Rock, Seinfeld, and Louis C.K. all previously appeared on the HBO series 'Talking Funny,' and maintain friendships in real life.

What say you?  Do you think the former 'Seinfeld' star will play himself, or take on an original role?  Who would you like to see next guest on the show?  Watch the season premiere on June 28, and sound off in the comments below!
