Linda Lovelace starred in the most famous pornographic film of all time. She also wrote at least two books on her life in the industry, one that was pro-swinger lifestyle, and one that talked about the abuse and rape that came with the trade. It's fascinating material - a fascinating life - and 'Lovelace' is a great role for Amanda Seyfried. And now there's a poster for the film.

There's a talented cast here with Seyfried leading Peter Sarsgaard, Hank Azaria, Wes Bentley, Adam Brody, James Franco, Robert Patrick, Chloe Sevigny, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple. The film also has a 'Sex and the City' reunion as both Chris Noth and Sarah Jessica Parker are in the film.

But the name that jumps out most might be surprising. It's Eric Roberts. His best role came in 'Star 80' where he played the abusive lover to a starlet. It seems that the makers of 'Lovelace' must have watched that film before doing this as Sarsgaard's role as Chuck Traynor will have a similar disposition (Traynor was considered little more than a pimp). There's a lot of ground to cover, from Lovelace's filmed act of bestiality, to 'Deep Throat,' to her time spent crusading against pornography. But the standard it will be compared to - without question - is 'Boogie Nights', for better or ill.
