Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the absolute best films of the year, and one that you can now take home on DVD and Blu-ray (though hopefully the latter) to WITNESS again and again at your leisure. But if you’re itching to relive Max and Furiosa’s harrowing journey through the Wasteland on the (very) big screen again, we have good news for you.

George Miller’s instant action classic is returning to IMAX theaters in 3D (eh) for one week only, beginning September 11. It’s a film so epic and so gloriously detailed that it definitely deserves to be seen on the largest screen possible — and what bigger screen is there than IMAX? If you haven’t seen Mad Max: Fury Road yet (why not?!), this one-week engagement offers you the chance to do so and finally see what all the well-earned fuss is about. If you’re just greedy and dying to see it again, well, here you go.

Miller’s long-developing sequel may not have made as big of a dent at the box office as we were all hoping, but the film hugely impressed critics and general audiences alike, with the director revealing that he already has an idea for a sequel to be titled Mad Max: The Wasteland. Hopefully it won’t take nearly as long for Miller to put that one together.
