‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Reveals New Looks at Tom Hardy on the Cover of Empire
Not only is ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ one of our most anticipated films of 2015, but we named the fist-pumping trailer for the upcoming film the best trailer of 2014 (how could we not?). And while we patiently await more awesome trailers leading up the film’s release, Warner Bros. has revealed two new looks at leading man Tom Hardy via a couple of Empire magazine covers.
Hardy, who plays “Mad” Max Rockatansky in the upcoming film, graces not one, but two Empire magazine covers—and these are some pretty rugged Glamour Shots, for sure. The actor stars in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ in the role originated by Mel Gibson in George Miller’s original films, and there couldn’t be a more perfect badass to fill those shoes. Miller is also behind the camera once again for the latest installment in the franchise, and judging by the face-melting footage in the trailer, we’re in for something that’s going to blow us away in a tornado of fire and dirt.
Here are the two magazine covers, for your viewing pleasure:
‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, where people are viciously fighting for scarce supplies and necessities in a harsh desert environment. The film also stars Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, original ‘Mad Max’ star Hugh Keays-Byrne, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The film hits theaters on May 15, 2015.
