The structure of 'Mad Men' seems ever-changing, but with an end to the series on the horizon through a sixth, seventh season of the period advertising drama, it's time to start buckling a few things  down.  We'd already heard that Jon Hamm closed a lucrative deal to keep Don Draper drinking through the next few seasons, but what of his co-stars?  Will Peggy, and most importantly of all, Fat Betty return?

Don't expect dramatic exits or diminished screen-time to keep any of the 'Mad Men' cast away from season 6 and 7, as Deadline reports that series stars January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser and Christina Hendricks are all close to finalizing deals that would keep them on the series through its next few seasons.  This comes as particularly good news for fans of Elisabeth Moss, who worried that Peggy Olson might not appear in future seasons after her dramatic exit from Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.

While Kartheiser, Jones and Moss are all negotiating deals that would likely extend through 'Mad Men' season 7 and include a six-figure pay raise, Christina Hendricks is said to be negotiating separately for a similar salary increase.  In any case, it's safe to say that things won't happen as dramatically as the recent 'Modern Family' raise debacle when 'Mad Men' picks up production again in October.

So breathe easy!  Peggy will continue to watch dogs hump by the window, Betty will presumably scarf a few more sundaes, Joan's assets are firmly in place, and maybe we'll even get someone new to punch Pete Campbell in the face.  Miss you, Lane.

What say you?  Are you happy to have the cast of 'Mad Men' locked down for another two years?  Do you think the show should come to an end afterward, or is there room for a season 8?  Tell us what you'd like to see happen in the comments below!

And, of course...
