'Mad Men' Season 6: Who Will Die This Season?Kevin Fitzpatrick |
Like any true to life drama, 'Mad Men' is no stranger to death, incorporating a major character's exit into its climax last year. With 'Mad Men' season 6 set to premiere a few weeks from now on April 7, might there be more visits from the reaper at Sterling-Cooper-Draper-Pryce? New spoilers have leaked from the coming season (cue our monocles shattering), so check out the latest intel on the first few hours of 'Mad Men' season 6 inside!
The death of (spoiler alert!) Lane Pryce last season took a hefty toll on the 'Mad Men' audience, and it looks like the first few hours of season 6 could see a few more characters shuffling loose the mortal coil. E! managed to catch a sneak peek of the first few episodes of the new season premiering April 7, and death is just one of the surprising things we'll be seeing this year:
Here are five things you can expect to see: a wedding, two deaths, Megan rocking several colorful bikinis, a dramatic physical transformation from Betty, and one character dropping an F-bomb (is that even allowed on AMC?!). As for the finale’s big question — did Don cheat on Megan? — let’s just say that will no longer be a question by the end of the two-hour premiere.
Jessica Pare in a bikini always scores highly with us, and would fit with some of the earlier leaked set photos. Not to mention, Jon Hamm has been talking our ear off about the different sides to Don Draper we'll be seeing this season, so adultery may well be in his future once again. As for the deaths, we doubt if they'll be major this early in the season, but we've been preparing for Bert Cooper's end for years, so we'd put money down there.
Really, the only thing we'll lament is the loss of Fat Betty, which would fit with the "dramatic physical transformation" and the fact that January Jones is back to fighting weight in all the photos. Tell us what you want to see from 'Mad Men' season 6 when the new episodes premiere on April 7, and say a likely final goodbye to Fat Betty in the comments!
