Remember that grisly promotional image from RZA’s ‘The Man With the Iron Fist’ that we shared with you? Of course you do. It actually showed a warrior getting his eyeball punched out. That’s pretty hard to forget. On the heels of that pic, we’re now seeing the film’s official poster, which we’re sharing with you below.

Quentin Tarantino is the man behind RZA’s directorial debut, which will be set in feudal China, where a blacksmith who specializes in weapons manufacturing must put his unique skills to the test when he’s faced with a dominant foe.

While it sounds like a genre exercise, RZA – who shared the new poster on his Twitter feed – actually stacked his deck with an impressive cast. Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, Rick Yune and Pam Grier are the recognizable talents in the ensemble. And the film’s tagline is so simple, it’s awesome:

“You can’t spell kung fu without F and U.”

RZA directs from a screenplay he wrote with Eli Roth. Tarantino presents the film, which will be out later this year. It looks like it could be a companion piece to Tarantino’s own ‘Kill Bill,’ with a dash of ’13 Assassins’ mixed in for good measure. Are you intrigued? Interested in grabbing the poster?
