'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' "Ragtag" Preview: Coulson and May Uncover Deathlok's OriginsKevin Fitzpatrick |
Only two episodes remain in the first season of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' and while the future of the organization (and the series) remain in limbo for the moment, next Tuesday's penultimate episode "Ragtag" will see Coulson and May going on the offensive to uncover Deathlok's parent company Cybertek. The full set of photos for the hour have arrived, so what secrets can we uncover from the latest "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'?
While the preview above for next Tuesday's "Ragtag" seems to highlight a focus on revealing Ward's backstory, and presumably whatever events led to his turning Hydra, you wouldn't necessarily know it from the photos of next Tuesday's installment. There, we see Coulson and May going undercover (as hipsters?) to visit the Cybertek offices, looking to gain some insight into stopping Deathlok/Mike, and focusing the final fight on Garret (Bill Paxton).
Here's how ABC describes next week's penultimate 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' "Ragtag":
COULSON AND HIS TEAM INFILTRATE HYDRA AND WARD’S TROUBLED PAST IS REVEALED, ON ABC’S “MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.”
“Ragtag” – In the last episode before the epic season finale, Ward ‘s betrayal and HYDRA’s shocking secrets are revealed as Coulson’s team goes undercover on a mission that leaves no one unscathed.
Guest starring are Bill Paxton as Agent Garrett, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett; Ruth Negga as Raina; David Conrad as Ian Quinn; J. August Richards as Mike.
Marvel's 'Avengers'-adjacent series has definitely bought back a bit of credit since the events of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' but what do you think? Will next week's "Ragtag" set us up for a strong conclusion, or wind up as flimsy as its namesake? Check out the full set of photos below, and give us your predictions for the final 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' episodes in the comments!
