Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' delivered a powerhouse viewing in its premiere episode, but will subsequent installments have the same gravity? We've heard about next week's high-flying affair, "0-8-4," as well as the super-villainous following, "The Asset," so what does Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' have in store for the fourth episode of the season, ominously titled "Eye-Spy"?

Hopefully something a bit less gruesome than the eye-related shenanigans of 'The Avengers.' Released by ABC, we've now gotten our first look at 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.''s upcoming fourth episode, October 15 installment "Eye-Spy," which lacks any comic references that we can discern, but proves fairly intriguing nonetheless:

"Eye-Spy" - Agent Coulson and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team try to track down a mysterious woman who has single-handedly committed numerous high-stakes heists. But when the woman’s identity is revealed, a troubling secret stands to ruin Coulson.

Guest starring are Pascale Armand as Akela Amador, Dominic Burgess as Englishman, Michael Klesic as Kropsky, Julia Emelin as inn keeper and Nick Gracer as armed guard.

Troubling secret, you say? Boy, that Phil Coulson sure seems fond of getting in trouble with ladies, especially after what we'll see in Tuesday's coming episode. In case you missed it, the ‘Avengers‘-adjacent series features Clark Gregg’s resurrected Phil Coulson, Ming-Na’s Melinda May, Brett Dalton’s Grant Ward, Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge as Leo Fitz and Gemma Simmons, and Chloe Bennet as hacker Skye. Upcoming episodes will also include ‘Luck‘ star Ian Hart as Marvel character Dr. Franklin Hall, and ‘Ghost Whisperer’ star David Conrad as scientist Ian Quinn, while Cobie Smulders will supposedly return as Maria Hill in upcoming episodes.

We've also included the latest trailer for the season below, so tell us in the comments which of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.''s upcoming episodes you're most looking forward to!
