Though 'The Avengers' has been breaking all of the box office records, one problem for future endeavors will be how limited Marvel is in terms of getting all their characters together. Though we heard rumors that Spidey might make an appearance in the film, crossover characters from different studios are unlikely to happen. Fox owns 'X-Men' and 'The Fantastic Four' while Columbia has 'Spider-Man' on lock. But that's just not the case in video games, which is where 'Marvel Heroes' comes in. Take a look at the trailer...

Gazillion Entertainment will be making its public debut of 'Marvel Heroes' this July at Comic-con, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It will be a free-to-play MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) where you can play as characters from the Marvel movies - from Hulk to Thor to Spider-Man - along with the reported 8,000 Marvel characters also available to play. If you have a favorite obscure Marvel comic book character, it's more than likely you can play them.

The game is being written by comic book legend Brian Michael Bendis, which is great news. He was the brain behind some of the best runs of the 'Daredevil' and 'Ultimate Spider-Man,' and had a hand in 'Secret War' and 'House of M' (to name a few). We should be in good hands.
