Marvel Spinoffs Poll: Which Hero Deserves His/Her Own Movie?

Marvel Spinoffs
Marvel Studios (3)

As previously discussed by ‘Iron Man 3′ star Don Cheadle, the possibility of War Machine getting his own movie could be real, if not exactly in the cards right at this moment. So that got us wondering: which supporting superhero character from the Marvel movies deserves their own spinoff? Vote in our poll after the break!

Obviously, we’re already seeing the “spinning off,” as it were, of the ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ team from ‘The Avengers,’ only in television form. And while that’s incredibly cool, we’re talking solo movie adventures here. Rhodey’s War Machine is one obvious option already discussed at length, but we’ve got a handful of other choices as well.

‘Iron Man 2′ introduced us to Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), but let’s face it, the character really came alive in ‘The Avengers,’ prompting many to yearn for a chance to see the beautiful butt-kicker get a standalone story. Then there’s Hawkeye, who hasn’t really had a chance to shine yet, but we’ve seen the potential. ’Captain America 2‘ will give us Anthony Mackie’s Falcon, while, looking all the way ahead to ‘The Avengers 2,’ we’ll eventually meet Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (assuming the current script treatment lasts up to the final cut).

So which of these characters deserves their shot at a solo adventure? Is there another one you have in mind? Vote in the poll and comment below!
