If there wasn't enough Marvel scoopage yesterday from their big Comic-Con 2012 panel, we've got a new clip from their short film 'Item 47,' which premiered at Comic-Con a couple of days ago. We covered it then, but check out the new clip.

The short film will appear on 'The Avengers' Blu-ray and DVD when it hits September 25, and it concerns the finding of a weapon from the collateral damage towards the end of 'Avengers.' Here's how we described it:

'Item 47′ stars Jesse Bradford and Lizzy Caplan as two struggling 20-somethings who find a discarded Chitauri weapon left behind after the “Battle of New York” (i.e., the s— that went down at the end of ‘The Avengers’). Instead of turning the gun into the proper authorities (S.H.I.E.L.D.) they decide to use it for their own personal gain – namely robbing banks.

Something about this clip seems very, very Quentin Tarantino. In fact it feels very similar to the opening of 'Pulp Fiction.' But a little Tarantino in the Marvel universe can't hurt too much. This was directed by Louis D'Esposito, who spent much of his career doing second unit work, until he became a producer at Marvel. Check out the clip:
