That Melissa McCarthy is one busy lady. In addition to reuniting with ‘Bridesmaids’ and ‘Spy’ director Paul Feig for his upcoming ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot, she’s also set to play Tinker Bell in a new Shawn Levy movie, and she’s producing and starring in ‘Michelle Darnell.’ And she just picked up her first great co-star for the latter: ‘Game of Thrones’ star Peter Dinklage.

According to Variety, Dinklage has joined the cast of ‘Michelle Darnell,’ which is based on an original character developed by McCarthy. The film, which is being directed by McCarthy’s husband (and actor) Ben Falcone, centers on an immensely successful woman who gets busted for insider trading and hauled off to prison. When she’s finally released, she attempts to make amends with all those that she’s wronged, but finds that it’s not very easy.

Although not much is known about the cast, Dinklage will be playing the role of the antagonist. Universal was open to casting either a man or a woman for the part, and previously considered Jon Hamm, Oprah Winfrey (!!!), and McCarthy’s ‘The Heat’ co-star Sandra Bullock. What’s even more interesting is that Paul Feig reportedly wanted (or still wants?) Dinklage to play an antagonist role in ‘Ghostbusters.’ Maybe Dinklage’s casting in ‘Michelle Darnell’ is opening the door to that possibility.

‘Michelle Darnell’ is just one of a few projects McCarthy and her husband are producing, including ‘Just Do It,’ about a wife who attempts to fix her marriage by having sex with her husband for 100 days in a row.

You can catch McCarthy next in the Paul Feig action-comedy ‘Spy,’ which hits theaters on May 22, 2015.
