Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Trailer: Snake Gets into the Saddle Once More

The newest trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain just debuted during the Microsoft E3 2013 press conference. Just what lies in store for Snake in this adventure?

For starters, The Phantom Pain will be an open world stealth adventure, giving players even more freedom than before. We’ll experience a realistic passage of time, deeper stealth mechanics, and the ability to ride different vehicles. Snake can climb rooftops, fight in dynamic close-quarters combat sequences, and sneak around in different ways, like hanging off the side of a horse.

We’re also introduced to new characters, such as a mute sniper named Quiet, a young boy who looks like a Lost Boys-era Kiefer Sutherlund, and a dude named Skullface. We’re also reintroduced to familiar faces like Otacon and Revolver Ocelot, only this time, they’re referred to as Emmerich and Ocelot.

Watch the trailer above and let us know what you think of Snake’s new adventure.
