If you somehow still haven't managed to play through any or all of the Metal Gear Solid games, then you're in for some good news. The PlayStation 3 will be getting another exclusive franchise bundle dubbed Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection, which will release in the U.S. on July 9th.

According to the PlayStation Blog, not only will you get access to every single Metal Gear Solid game to appear on the various PlayStation consoles, you'll also get a limited 100-page art book featuring the work of Yoji Shinkawa. The book won't just be character sketches and game designs though. There will also be some rare marketing materials that haven't been seen for years.

The two-disc collection will also feature digital versions of Ashley Woods' graphic novels based on Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. As an added treat, the PSOne Metal Gear Solid: Virtual Missions will also be thrown in for those of you who want to experience every last second of Metal Gear you can.

It's a very impressive package, especially when you factor in the $49.99 price point for eight complete games. This collection will only be available on the PS3, as Kojima and Konami stand by the fact that Metal Gear Solid 4 is just too big for the Xbox 360, and would require more than two discs worth of gameplay.

Will you be adding the Legacy Collection to your library, or have you bought enough Metal Gear Solid games over the past fifteen years?
