It's a big news day for Michelle Rodriguez. The tough lady has signed on to return for two sequels: Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete Kills' and Justin Lin's 'Fast Six.' Rihanna better watch out because Michelle Rodriguez doesn't mess around.

Following the news yesterday that Rihanna is in talks to play a villain in upcoming 'Fast and the Furious' sequel 'Fast Six,' Variety reports that Michelle Rodriguez is hot on her heels, signing on to reprise her role in the series, as teased at the end of 'Fast Five.' Rodriguez joins the previously announced combo of Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel for the high-speed actioner. Filming begins this June in Europe, with most of the action taking place in England.

But that's not all. Rodriguez will also reprise her role from 'Machete' in Robert Rodriguez's (no relation) 'Machete Kills,' which is set to begin production this month in Texas. Danny Trejo will also return to fill the shoes of the Mexican vigilante with a heart of gold. Mel Gibson is set co-star as the villainous Luther Voz, a mad man bent on inciting a world war -- so maybe Gibson has been method acting in preparation for this role for the last several years?

Rodriguez has made a name for herself since her role in Karyn Kusama's 2000 film 'Girlfight,' with parts in 'Resident Evil,' 'Battle Los Angeles,' and 'Avatar' as a tough, butt-kicking leading lady. Mel Gibson and Rihanna beware.
