Minecraft is Coming to Xbox One

Even if the Xbox Live Arcade titles you own won't be transferring to Xbox One, that doesn't mean Microsoft won't be bringing its biggest hits to the next generation console.

Dubbed Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, the Mojang classic will now be making its way to the next generation. Microsoft promised bigger worlds, but little else was said about what to expect from the updated version of the game.

Minecraft has been the most successful Xbox Live Arcade game of all time since it launched, and it seems Mojang and Microsoft are keen to bring that kind of selling power to the Xbox One as well. There's no indication as to when Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will arrive, but there's little doubt it will be one of the more popular titles to arrive on Microsoft's new console.
