'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' Poster Teases the End

Last month Lionsgate delivered the first official poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 — that stylish poster was exclusive to the Cannes film festival (which seemed a bit counterintuitive to the film’s message, but whatever), but the latest release is for everyone. The studio has unveiled a new teaser poster for the final installment in The Hunger Games franchise, and it looks like President Snow has lost his damn head.

The new poster (check it out in full below) delivers some very striking imagery, echoing the early promotional materials for Mockingjay – Part 1, which featured President Snow, Peeta and Johanna covered in white and posing like statues. In this poster, Snow’s statue has been beheaded, with the Mockingjay symbol spray painted in red behind it, another bit of promotional imagery from the last film.

Now that the latest, more official teaser poster has dropped, we should be seeing the first teaser trailer in the next couple of weeks or so. Prepare yourselves.

In Mockingjay – Part 2, Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss to take down President Snow once and for all with an incredibly dangerous and ambitious assassination attempt. Returning alongside Lawrence are Josh Hutcherson, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright, Julianne Moore and Jena Malone.
