'Modern Family' has seen some impressive (and occasionally meta) guest stars across its four seasons, most recently with big names like Matthew Broderick and 'Star Wars' star Billy Dee Williams in the coming weeks, but stage a 'Married With Children' reunion and you've got our attention! Bud Bundy himself, David Faustino will make an appearance on the Emmy-winning series, but will he share any scenes with former 'Married' star Ed O'Neill? Details inside!

Love and marriage may go together like a horse and carriage, but former 'Married with Children' stars Ed O'Neill and David Faustino really are inseparable. Entertainment Weekly announced recently that former Bud Bundy portrayer David Faustino will join his on-screen father in an upcoming episode of 'Modern Family,' though curiously won't feature any scenes with his former TV father.

Instead, Faustino will appear as Claire (Julie Bowen)'s highly successful former college classmate when the pair reunite at a reunion. With the episode set to air next year, we're hoping that the producers will find ways to sneak in at least one 'Married with Children' reference or reunion.

Apart from Faustino, Broderick and Dee Williams ‘Modern Family’ season 4 will bring back '30 Rock' star Elizabeth Banks, and Shelley Long as Jay’s ex-wife Dede, having previously featured ‘Reno 911!’ and ‘Bridesmaids’ star Wendi McLendon-Covey and former ‘SNL‘ star Michaela Watkins.

What say you? Are you excited to see David Faustino and Ed O'Neill sharing 'Modern Family,' even if they don't share scenes?
