Before the current season of 'Modern Family' began (and before all those incredible salary re-negotiations and strikes threatened to derail everything), we were excited that 'Bridesmaids' and former 'Reno 911!' star Wendi McLendon-Covey was to guest on the Emmy-winning series as a lesbian rival to Cam and Mitchell. That episode has since come and gone, but good news! McLendon-Covey will return to the series in a coming episode, albeit absent her partner Michaela Watkins. Find out what McLendon-Covey's Pam will be up to this time inside!

Fans of 'Modern Family' and 'Bridesmaids' star Wendi McLendon-Covey's recent appearance on the series with this season's "Schooled" are in for a treat. TVLine reports that the one-time 'Reno 911!' star will put in a second appearance this season as "Pam," albeit without Michael Watkins as her significant other.

This time around, McLendon-Covey's Pam will assist Cam and Claire with their house renovation/flipping project, as the actress says, "I think Cam has some ideas about the restoration, and he’s fighting [about it] with Claire, so they get Pam involved. We’ll see how my contracting skills are. We’ll see how comfortable I look with a hammer in my hand!"

Elsewhere, the series also recently cast Ed O'Neill's former TV son and co-star David Faustino as one of Claire's college classmates, albeit not sharing screentime with O'Neill himself.

What say you? Are you excited to see Wendi McLendon-Covey return to 'Modern Family' so soon?
