The more we learn about Sir Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus,’ the less we appear to understand. And that’s a good thing. Even though 20th Century Fox has shared trailers, TV spots and images from the anticipated summer blockbuster, I still don’t feel like we’ve scratched the surface of what Scott has in store.

So feel free to peruse this massive gallery of ‘Prometheus’ images posted on KinoGallery.com. More than five pages of stills, which look to be captures from the various clips and trailers we’ve recently seen, allow fans of Scott’s universe to scour for clues to how this story will connect with the original ‘Alien’ … if it connects, at all.

In ‘Prometheus,’ a team of astronauts ventures to the darkest corners of outer space on a mission to discover the spark that possibly created our existence. Everything we have seen so far pertaining to the film suggests that it will be massive in scope. It also implies that Scott is getting back to the sci-fi/horror roots he planted in films like ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner.’ Decades ago, Scott invented the formula that so many sci-fi storytellers use to this day. It’s only fitting that he expand the reach of the genre, daring others to rise – once again – to his level.

B sure to surf through it, click on any image to see it in hi-res and pick up crucial details we might have missed. ‘Prometheus’ stars Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce and opens everywhere on June 8.
