Earlier today, NBC released a creepy new teaser for its forthcoming Bryan Fuller-helmed drama 'Hannibal,' which however eerie noticeably failed to incorporate the good doctor of the drama's title. Far be it for such simple minds as we to notice the same of its next teaser, but 'Hannibal' still looks like a bloody good show. Get a sneak peek of the all-consuming carnage inside!

NBC's 'Hannibal' will officially arrive on Thursday, April 4, but even with its teasers and trailers the network seems to be keeping Mads Mikkelsen's portrayal of the iconic 'Silence of the Lambs' villain close to the chest. After the bell-ringing teaser from earlier today, the network has served up another glimpse of the hotly-anticipated series, albeit once again light on its titular character.

In addition to Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy as his haunted partner Will Graham, ‘Hannibal’ boasts appearances from ‘Dead Like Me’s’ Ellen Muth, Lance Henriksen and ‘The X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and spouse Gina Torres playing Jack Crawford and his wife, ‘Veep‘ star Anna Chlumsky, comedian Eddie Izzard, ‘SNL‘ alum Molly Shannon, ‘Pushing Daisies’ vet Ellen Greene, ‘Wonderfalls’ star Chelan Simmons, Lara Jean Chorostecki as a female interpretation of ‘Red Dragon’ character Freddy Lounds, and Raul Esparza as Dr. Frederick Chilton.

Hopefully NBC will be more generous with 'Hannibal' and its titular character going forward, but check out the new teaser below and tell us what you think in the comments! Will you tune in on April 4?
