NBC has been in need of a win this year, especially now that their flagship mid-season drama 'Smash' will move to Saturdays, so might the upcoming Bryan Fuller-helmed 'Hannibal' be exactly what the doctor ordered? The new drama chronicling the early relationship between Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) will premiere on April 7, so are you ready for the best look yet at the scary new series?

Teasers make for a fine appetizer, with plenty of fresh photos to garnish the plate, but 'Hannibal's main course will leave your mouth watering. NBC has issued its best and longest trailer yet for the new series premiering April 7, which continues to focus more on the troubled nature of its lead character Will Graham, but still offers some tantalizing glimpses of Lecter himself.

In addition to Mikkelsen and Dancy, ‘Hannibal’ boasts appearances from ‘Dead Like Me’s’ Ellen Muth, Lance Henriksen and ‘The X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and spouse Gina Torres playing Jack Crawford and his wife, comedian Eddie Izzard, ‘SNL‘ alum Molly Shannon, ‘Pushing Daisies’ vet Ellen Greene, ‘Wonderfalls’ star Chelan Simmons, Lara Jean Chorostecki as a female interpretation of ‘Red Dragon’ character Freddy Lounds, and Raul Esparza as Dr. Frederick Chilton, who makes an appearance in the trailer as well.

Savor your best look yet at 'Hannibal' below, and let us know in the comments if you'll tune in starting April 7!
