A few weeks ago, we were excited to catch our first look at NBC's forthcoming Bryan Fuller-directed 'Hannibal' pilot, though the trailer didn't offer much in the way of glimpses into its titular character, who said a mere two words in the brief spot. Now, Hannibal has launched a new full-length international trailer that serves up more than a hearty helping of fava beans and chianti with its liver, so get your first look at the real 'Hannibal' inside!

The April 4 premiere of NBC's 'Hannibal' will arrive in little over a month, but that hasn't satiated our hunger for a better look at the series following the cryptic, brief trailer. Now, NBC has released a much more in-depth look at the new series re-examining the relationship between the villainous Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and his reluctant partner, FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy)

In it, we see that Will himself has a rather unique gift to put his mind in dark places as a means to catch killers, but one that taints him accordingly. Mikkelsen's Hannibal steps in to help, albeit lacking some of the charm of Anthony Hopkins' iconic portrayal of the Thomas Harris character.

In addition to Mikkelsen and Dancy, ‘Hannibal’ boasts appearances from ‘Dead Like Me’s’ Ellen Muth, Lance Henriksen and ‘The X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and spouse Gina Torres playing Jack Crawford and his wife, ‘Veep‘ star Anna Chlumsky, comedian Eddie Izzard, ‘SNL‘ alum Molly Shannon, ‘Pushing Daisies’ vet Ellen Greene, ‘Wonderfalls’ star Chelan Simmons, Lara Jean Chorostecki as a female interpretation of ‘Red Dragon’ character Freddy Lounds, and Raul Esparza as Dr. Frederick Chilton.

Take a look at the chilling new trailer for NBC's 'Hannibal' below, and tell us in the comments if you'll tune in for the April 4 premiere!
