The fall season of TV is set to begin any day now, heaving dozens of new shows at the audience from the return of their summer-long favorites to the fresh crop of originals to be mowed through.  One new series we're adamant deserves a fair shake despite its ominous presence on NBC is that of the Jon Favreau-directed and Eric Kripke created 'Revolution,' so how would you like to get things started by checking out the full pilot before it airs?

Fortunately for us, we don't have to deal with the harsh reality of NBC's 'Revolution,' a nightmare in which not only would TV be out, but all electricity altogether!  And even though it feels like we share that world today with the wireless on the fritz, we get to comfortably watch the new series unfold from the comfort of our still-powered laptops, as NBC has put the full pilot episode online in advance of its official September 17 debut.

For those unfamiliar with the series, ‘Revolution’ follows a band of survivors (led by ‘Twilight’s Billy Burke) as they travel across America, a global blackout having robbed the world of all its electricity some 15 years prior.  Along the way, the groups journey is complicated by the imposing Captain Neville (‘Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito), leader of a Militia that now runs the territory.

Check out the pilot episode below, and be sure to tune in and support the series on Mondays when it airs, beginning September 17!  Tell us what you think in the comments afterward.
