Netflix fans are eagerly awaiting the coming reunion of 'Arrested Development,' as well as fellow Netflix originals like 'Hemlock Grove' and a second season of 'Lilyhammer,' but that won't stop the pay-streaming site from releasing one of its most ambitious projects to date this Friday, that of David Fincher and Kevin Spacey's political drama 'House of Cards.' The network has released its biggest trailer yet for the outing, which debuts in its entirety this week, so take a look inside!

LIke 'Lilyhammer' before it, 'House of Cards' will see will see all the episodes of its first season released on Netflix, starring Kevin Spacey in a new political drama from 'The Social Network' director David Fincher. Netflix has released the latest trailer for the upcoming series, focusing on Kate Mara's young upstart journalist character Zoe Barnes.

‘House of Cards,’ itself adapted from a British novel penned by former Conservative Party Chief of Staff Michael Dobbs and previously adapted for a BBC miniseries, follows Spacey as Representative Frank Underwood, a “wily, murderous politician worming his way to the White House.” Screenwriter Beau Wilmon updates the setting from Dobbs’ original novel, which followed an ambitious yet morally dubious British politician eying Margaret Thatcher’s position as Prime Minister in her final days. The series also features Robin Wright. Netflix has already ordered a second season of the drama, to unfold over another 13 episodes.
