Recent months have see Netflix picking up comedy specials covering every name from Dave Chappelle to Jerry Seinfeld, and now the streaming service adds another major name to its roster. Sarah Silverman will film a new special for Netflix, with an eye to premiere in May of this year.

Where previous special Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles aired on HBO, Silverman now joins the growing list of major comedians making Netflix their home. Silverman will film the special later this month (directed by Liam Lynch), with an already-scheduled Netflix premiere for Tuesday, May 30.

Netlfix has made a tremendous push into comedy specials in recent years, between a three-part showcase with Dave Chappelle, and similar high-profile comedy deals for Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Jerry Seinfeld (including Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee), Joe Rogan, Dana Carvey, Michael Che, Gabriel Iglesias, Reggie Watts and Colin Quinn (directed by Seinfeld, no less).

2013 HBO comedy special We Are Miracles won a 2014 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special, as well as a nomination for Outstanding Variety Special, even netting a 2015 Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. We’ll see if the next proves so successful, so stay tuned for more on Netflix’s comedy slate.
