As if any disbelief over Netflix’s impending ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ revival miniseries lingered, the streaming service has already taken us back to Camp Firewood to rejoin the cast. See the first teaser for Netflix’s apt and newly-named ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,’ confirming the entire cast’s return as early as this summer!

Though the new teaser doesn’t offer any confirmations on the recent round of cast additions to the David Wain-Michael Showalter series, our first look at ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ confirms the returns of ‘Ant-Man’’s Paul Rudd, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’’s Bradley Cooper, ‘Parks and Recreation’’s Amy Poehler, ‘The Hunger Games’ star Elizabeth Banks, ‘Marry Me’’s Ken Marino, Law and Order: SVU’’s Christopher Meloni, Janeane Garofalo, ‘SNL’’s Molly Shannon, ‘Frasier’’s David Hyde Pierce, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’’s Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Ian Black, ‘30 Rock’’s Judah Friedlander, Zak Orth, and Marguerite Moreau, and Showalter himself.

The brief sneak peek also confirms that the 8-episode series will act as a prequel to the original (despite actors being 14 years older), taking place on the ‘First Day of Camp,’ as opposed to the 2001 film’s last. Rumored additions to the new Netflix series include ‘Mad Men’ star John Slattery, ‘In A World’’s Lake Bell, ‘The Interview’’s Randall Park, ‘Glee’ star Jayma Mays, ‘SNL’’s Michaela Watkins, Rob Huebel, ‘The Good Wife’ star Josh Charles, Richard Schiff, Paul Scheer and director David Wain.

Wain and Showalter will write and direct the new 8-episode follow-up, which will miraculously debut this summer. Return to Camp Firewood for the ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’ teaser above, and tell us what you want to see from the Netflix revivlal in the comments!
