Just when you thought Netflix’s ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp’ miniseries couldn’t get any bigger, after a first teaser confirming the star-studded cast’s return, Camp Firewood might well explode. In addition to the many guest stars already joining the ranks, so too will Kristen Wiig, Chris Pine, Jon Hamm, and Jason Schwartzman buddy up for Netflix’s ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ revival.

Per Deadline, Hamm will join his ‘Mad Men’ co-star John Slattery in playing a “secret spy,” while newly-confirmedGhostbuster’ and ‘SNL’ great Wiig will playing a snobby counselor at the rival Camp Tigerclaw. ‘Star Trek’ captain Chris Pine has only been listed as “mysterious,” while Wes Anderson darling Jason Schwartzman’s role was even less specified.

Returning from the original 2001 David Wain-Michael Showalter classic are ‘Ant-Man’’s Paul Rudd, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’’s Bradley Cooper, ‘Parks and Recreation’’s Amy Poehler, ‘The Hunger Games’ star Elizabeth Banks, ‘Marry Me’’s Ken Marino, ‘Law and Order: SVU’’s Christopher Meloni, Janeane Garofalo, ‘SNL’’s Molly Shannon, ‘Frasier’’s David Hyde Pierce, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’’s Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Ian Black, ‘30 Rock’’s Judah Friedlander, Zak Orth, and Marguerite Moreau, and Showalter himself.

The 8-episode series will act as a prequel to the original (despite actors being 14 years older), taking place on the ‘First Day of Camp,’ as opposed to the 2001 film’s last. Other additions to the new Netflix series include ‘In A World’’s Lake Bell, ‘The Interview’’s Randall Park, ‘Glee’ star Jayma Mays, ‘SNL’’s Michaela Watkins, Rob Huebel, ‘The Good Wife’ star Josh Charles, Richard Schiff, Paul Scheer and director David Wain himself.

Wain and Showalter will also write and direct the new 8-episode follow-up, hitting this summer, so how much bigger could this thing get?
