In the newest trailer for 'Battleship,' the adaptation of the Hasbro board game of the same name, has arrived. And with it comes our first real look at the alien opposition, which resembles something more akin to a robot, and certainly nothing like a plastic peg.

The trailer shows us familiar faces, like Liam Neeson (who has a very specific set of skills... with artillery) and Taylor Kitsch, who previously worked with director Peter Berg on the critically acclaimed (and deservedly so) television series 'Friday Night Lights.'

It also features all those classic hallmarks of the beloved board game from our youth, like explosions and Rihanna. You can catch 'Battleship' when it hits theaters in May, or you can go to the store and buy the game and throw Molotov cocktails at it while listening to "We Found Love in a Hopeless Place" on a loop, which achieves pretty much the same effect, sans lens flares.
