Quentin Tarantino's latest releases this Christmas, but the marketing cogs have already begun to turn for 'Django Unchained.' This latest batch of images feature the heroic Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and a villainous Leonardo DiCaprio.

While it's hard to get a feel for the film from stills, you can get a little bit of an idea of Tarantino's style. With cast members jumping ship (most recently Tarantino lost Kurt Russell), it's hard to imagine this film will be ready for its slated Christmas release.

The Weinstein Company appears confident, however, recently screening a footage reel at the Cannes film festival, with audience members reacting positively to what was shown. Word also broke last week that a teaser for 'Django Unchained' will be attached to 'Prometheus,' when that film hits  theaters next Friday, June 8.

Jamie Foxx plays a former slave out to rescue his wife from evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (a deliciously sinister Leonardo DiCaprio) with the help of his bounty hunting mentor (Christoph Waltz). It's Tarantino's most provocative material yet, and might be his most controversial.

Enjoy the new images from 'Django Unchained' featuring our three leads in what we guess we're calling a "slave western" (you can click each image below to see it in hi-res).
