‘New Girl’ Has a New Girl in ’30 Rock’ Star Katrina Bowden

Boy, between Lake Bell, Lizzie Caplan and Zooey Deschanel, 'New Girl's Nick (Jake Johnson) is at no loss for beautiful women seemingly vying for the bartender's affection.  So what's one more?  Or...what's four more?

Fans of '30 Rock's Katrina Bowden will be elated to learn that the actress has booked an upcoming guest stint on FOX's 'New Girl' as one of four women who find themselves pursuing Nick in upcoming episodes, according to E!.  Bowden, best known for her work as Liz Lemon's astoundingly gorgeous assistant Cerie, will appear in the April 3 installment of 'New Girl,' which sees Nick turning to Schmidt (Max Greenfield) for advice on navigating the bevy of women suddenly thrown his way.

Beautiful women evidently undeterred by Nick's trademark dour expression and low-income job, actor Jake Johnson says of the upcoming arc, "That's part of a phase where Nick Miller scores a lot of women. He goes through a very weird stage that ends in a pretty fun, comedic way."

But don't worry shippers of Nick and Jess, even though the 'New Girl' panel at PaleyFest spelled out that we wouldn't be seeing the pairing of the two roommates any time in the near future, Jess will have plenty on her own plate to contend with romantically, particularly from upcoming guest star Dermot Mulroney.  And with Max secretly sort-of dating Cece (Hannah Simone), where's the love for Winston (Lamorne Morris)?
