'Iron Man 3' kicks off Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this May, which if you can believe it or not, is only about two months away. Today we get three new 'Iron Man 3' pics that give us a better look at the film's villain and plus Tony Stark might be working for.

'Iron Man 3' will feature some all new Stark technology, most notably the Extremis nanotechnology that will link the Iron Man armor to Tony Stark's body (and in one of the images below it looks like Tony Stark is using his own form of Google glasses). In one of the new 'Iron Man 3' pics below (which originally appeared in Empire Magazine), Stark is wearing an AIM shirt - is this a new alliance?

AIM is Advanced Idea Mechanics, the company that created the original Cosmic Cube (at least in the comics). The Cube was created by scientist George Tarleton who would later be mutated into MODOK by his bosses at AIM. MODOK is a comic fan favorite and a frequent villain of Captain America (many Marvel fans wanted Peter Dinklage to star as MODOK in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' but with Dinklage now starring in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' that's not going to happen).

Will there be anything to the AIM/Iron Man connection or is that just a fun easter egg for Marvel fans? Take a look at the three new 'Iron Man 3' pics below (including a new shot of the villainous Aldrich Killian) to see for yourself.
