New ‘Man of Steel’ TV Spot: “Why Did You Send Me Here?”

'Man of Steel' is only weeks away and a new TV spot has arrived, reminding us that this looks like the comic book movie to beat this summer. Although we've seen some of this footage before, this spot offers us a glimpse at some new stuff, much of which will be of utmost interest to Superman fans.

One of the newly revealed scenes appears to be a romantic flight between Henry Cavill's Superman and Amy Adams' Lois Lane, instantly reminding us of the iconic date between these two characters in Richard Donner's 1978 film. The trailers have been so big on epic action that it's nice to see that these two characters will get some time to build a proper romance. However, this isn't the only relationship teased in the spot. We also get a look at a moment between Superman and Jor-El (Russell Crowe), communicating with his son and giving him some sage wisdom despite the fact that he's been dead for a couple decades.

'Man of Steel' flies, smashes and heat visions into theaters on June 14th.
