June is about to get big with much-anticipated movie releases like Pixar's 'Brave,' Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus,' and 'Snow White and the Huntsman.' We break down this month's new theatrical releases so you can get pumped for the 2012 summer movie season.

June 1

'Battlefield America' -- Directed by Chris Stokes. Starring Marques Houston, Mekia Cox, and Christopher Jones. Are you ready for yet another underground dance movie? 'Battlefield America' tells the story of what happens when a businessman sets out to turn a group of ne'er-do-wells into dancers fit for competition.

'Snow White and the Huntsman' -- Directed by Rupert Sanders. Starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, and Chris Hemsworth. In a dark twist on the classic fairy tale, Kristen Stewart plays Snow White, a young woman targeted for death by an evil queen. But when the huntsman tasked with retrieving her heart falls for Snow White, he trains her to become a warrior capable of vanquishing the queen once and for all.

June 8

'Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted' -- Directed by Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath, and Conrad Vernon. Starring Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, and Jada Pinkett Smith. The gang returns in the third film of the franchise, which finds them still trying to return to New York. This time around they end up in Europe with a traveling circus.

'Prometheus' -- Directed by Ridley Scott. Starring Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, and Logan Marshall Green. In this semi-prequel to Ridley Scott's 'Alien,' a group of scientific explorers travel to a distant planet to discover the meaning of life and unlock its mysteries.

June 15

'Rock of Ages' -- Directed by Adam Shankman. Starring Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta. Two young musicians fight against all odds for love in this rock musical set against the backdrop of 1987, co-starring Cruise as an aging rocker.

'That's My Boy' -- Directed by Sean Anders. Starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg. Donny is a washed-up has been who abandoned his son Todd once he turned 18 only to return to throw his life into upheaval as his wedding day approaches.

'The Woman in the Fifth' -- Directed by Pawel Pawlikowski. Starring Ethan Hawke and Kristin Scott Thomas. After losing his job, a college professor goes to Paris and becomes involved with a woman who might be a murderer.

June 22

'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' -- Directed by Timur Bekmambetov. Starring Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell, and Dominic Cooper. History is re-imagined as President Abraham Lincoln sets out to eradicate a group of dangerous vampires.

'Brave' -- Directed by Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman, and Steve Purcell. Starring Kelly MacDonald, Emma Thompson, and Billy Connolly. Pixar's latest is the tale of a young Scottish princess who must defend her kingdom from an evil curse with her bravery.

'Seeking a Friend For the End of the World' -- Directed by Lorene Scafaria. Starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley. When a man's wife leaves him on the eve of Earth's destruction, he forms an unlikely friendship with his neighbor, who then joins him on the road to find his high school sweetheart.

June 29

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' -- Directed by Jon M. Chu. Starring Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, and Adrianne Palicki. The G.I. Joes must fight against Cobra and their own government if they want to stay alive and in business in this action-packed sequel.

'Magic Mike' -- Directed by Steven Soderbergh. Starring Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, and Matthew McConaughey. Mike is one of the best of the best in the world of male strippers, so he takes a young up and comer under his wing in the latest from Steven Soderbergh.
