It's been twelve years since Roman Coppola stepped behind the camera of a feature film, but his latest effort is bound to turn a few heads, even if it's just for the cast. What kind of movie are you making when you case Charlie Sheen, Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray? 'A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III,' apparently. And now you can get a taste of the film's tone with an exceptionally odd trailer.

Before you venture any further, note that this trailer is pretty much NSFW (unless you work in an office that is okay with full frontal nudity and if that's the case, good for you!), so don't go watching it out in public or in front of your grandparents or anything. Although the trailer doesn't contain any actual footage from the movie, it lets us know two things: this movie is probably going to be very, very weird and it's not at all coy about using its star's reputation to full effect.

Weird, huh? It also didn't tell us a thing about the movie's plot, but that's what they invented official synopses for. Here you go:

Set in a stylized Los Angeles, A GLIMPSE INSIDE THE MIND OF CHARLES SWAN III is a playful comedy of lost love, friendship, revenge fantasies, and Brandy Alexanders. Charles (Charlie Sheen) is a successful graphic designer whose fame, money and charm have provided him with a seemingly perfect life. When his true love, a perplexing beauty named Ivana, suddenly breaks off their relationship, Charles’ life falls apart, and he swirls into a downward spiral of doubt, confusion and reflection. With the support of his loyal intimates—Kirby (Jason Schwartzman), Saul (Bill Murray), and his sister, Izzy (Patricia Arquette)—he begins the hard road of self-evaluation to come to terms with a life without Ivana. The film begs the question: Is it possible to love and hate someone at the same time?

'A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III' is already on VOD, but it arrives in theaters on February 28th. Coppola is fresh off an Oscar nomination for co-writing the wonderful 'Moonrise Kingdom,' so this could be the continuation of a streak or a post-acclaim fall on the face. Time will tell.
