See?  Showtime has the right idea.  Rather than mercilessly taunt us with footage after footage, clip after clip, and poster after billboard as HBO has done for the coming second season of 'Game of Thrones,' Showtime has opted for the direct approach when it comes to promoting the return of its upcoming shows.

Those of you who've been waiting patiently for the premieres of Showtime favorites 'Nurse Jackie,' 'The Big C,' and period religious drama 'The Borgias' are in for a treat.  How would you like to watch the season premieres of all three right now?  You would?  Than scroll down below!

Much as the network has done for the initial premieres of 'House of Lies' and CIA thriller 'Homeland,' as well as 'The Tudors' back in the day, Showtime has made the season premieres for all three available, whether streaming YouTube, or available, on Showtime.com, iTunes or on the various mobile devices.

'The Borgias' moves into its second season, as Rodrigo Borgia (Jeremy Irons) takes his place as Pope, giving his family even more power, but still facing threats like King Charles of France and his army.  'Nurse Jackie' picks up in season 4 with the pill-popping nurse (Edie Falco)'s secret out of the bag, and 'The Big C' moves into its third season, with Cathy (Laura Linney) dealing with the aftermath of Paul's heart attack.  All three will make their official premieres on Sunday, April 8 on Showtime.

Now, the one drawback is that the streaming versions are edited, and the true versions will air on the network itself but hey!  Free TV!  So watch the premieres, and tell us what you thought in the comments below!

First up is 'Nurse Jackie'...

Then comes 'The Borgias'...
