One Take: Do We Even Want Ridley Scott to Make a Blade Runner Sequel?

Blade Runner
Warner Bros.

Opinions! We have so many of them! At least one a day. So we’re trying out a new feature titled ‘One Take’ which will allow us to share those opinions. Enter film critic Jordan Hoffman

When I walked out of ‘Prometheus‘ my opinion was torn. When I wrote my review I realized it was a disappointment. As the days pass, I realize that I’m a little bit saddened (outraged?) by the whole affair. Now Ridley Scott wants to eff up ‘Blade Runner,’ too?

Our friends at Collider.com got him to talk a bit about it – and to tease part of his vision for the film. But his description is the problem with Ridley writ large. He’s got all kinds of cool details, but does he have a story to tell?
