You would think starring in six of the biggest movies of all time would automatically make you a superstar, but it's funny how Orlando Bloom's fame has faded. And though he'll appear in 'The Hobbit' films, one gets the sense that he's washed out. Now he's starring in 'The Good Doctor' and we've got the trailer and poster for it.

The film is coming out August 31, and because it's Magnolia that means it will likely be hitting VOD around the same time. Here's the poster:

Bloom had his shot. He top-lined a number of high-profile titles post-'Lord of the Rings' - including 'Kingdom of Heaven' and 'Elizabethtown' - that didn't do well, while 'Elizabethtown' co-star Paul Schneider nicknamed the star "Orblando Gloom." You add that up, and you can see why he was in Paul W.S. Anderson's 'The Three Musketeers.'

On top of that- even though he was one of the leads of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films - everyone thought Johnny Depp was the star of the series and so Bloom's character (along with Keira Knightley's) were written out of the most recent sequel. And though 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' didn't do as well domestically as the first three, it still made a billion dollars worldwide and no one complained that he was left behind. Perhaps the upcoming 'Hobbit' films will make audiences remember why they liked him in the first place or maybe this film will reignite people's interest in the actor. Doubtful, but you never know.
